Origin and Composition:
Pan Reed, White Stone is a surface from our White Summits 4th catalogue, which is part of the &OtherWorld collection. This collection includes a total of 48 inlaid surfaces.
It's a fast growing plant originally from Southend part of South Africa. It grows in proximity to water is harvested for use thatching and roofing by ingenious people.
Manufacturing Process:
Our development of various applications for reed allows us to source waste material locally, thereby supplementing local incomes. Once purchased, the reeds are sorted according to the required quality, followed by drying if necessary. Afterward, they are stored in our dehumidified room or warehouse. The reeds are then inlaid directly in strips or cut into specific lengths and patterns. In most cases, the reeds are reinforced with a bio-resin (the best available on the market) for additional material stability. We then grind or sand the reeds to expose the natural properties of the material, making colour adjustments if required, and finish with a topcoat to reinforce the surface.
Interior Applications:
Pan Reed,White Stone is primarily used in residential and hospitality projects. It can be applied in various interior applications, including wall panelling, furniture, and decorative accents.

We collaborates closely with architects and interior designers to create custom-designed pieces.

The starting price is €1,500/m², excluding shipping costs from Cebu, the Philippines. Pricing may vary based on complexity, application, and volume.
It can be installed on standard substrates or on substrates provided by the client to meet their specific needs.
The standard maximum panel sizes are 1220x2440mm, with the option for larger bespoke sizes.
